SOO ive been away from this blog page for i dont know how long.. the reasoning equals out to be no internet connection in my apartment ... sad sad story i know!
This results in more working on sketching and designs.. Im in the process of starting a clothing line called IndiVISUAL eventually i will have a full cut and sewn men and womens collection. For all you savvy business people and real designers, shout out to me you never know what may be a mad hot colaboration. I have the designs and even the sourcing i would like to use.. BUT what is everyones issue this day and age? FINANCIAL BACKING... *ADVICE* save your money.. and work hard.. i could use that advice myself..
::now for some fun style tips::
As you know I am a visual and sales stylist and NORDSTROM at North Park center in Dallas,TX. Working with Nordstrom Ive learned to engage with many different clients for all different markets. whether you are shopping for your toddler, husband or yourself. Everyone needs clothing, most people dont know what they want when shopping. That is your job to show your customers what hot item they are missing from their closet.
I have a few customers who have been brave enough to allow me to take pictures of the outfits i have put together to showcase for you all to see my master styling skills.
I however do not have these pics available now they will be added soon.
NOW SIMPLE STYLING TIPS FOR ALL
-Be aware of your appearance, everyone can tell when you are "not trying" have on your "fat jeans",, what do they call em these days. "your boyfriend denim!" When meeting new people your appearance is always the first impression. Never give a bad impression in an industry made up of appearances.
-Know your surroundings and where you fit in. Dont wear a cocktail dress to a party that says casual attire. dont steal anyones sunshine from their own party.
-Balance your outfits with the colors, shapes, textiles. Dont wear too much patterns in one outfit. "skinny jeans" have been in style for awhile, however you have to know when your body type does not work. Balance out the skinny look on the bottom with a flowy top.
That brings me to
-FIT.. have your clothing altered. America has the biggest people, meaning we are curvy and shaply.. Make sure your clothes fit to your body.

FAKE IT UNTIL U MAKE IT!!!

It's all about the game people. All about how much you can make your customer, your next boss or even your competition. I am currently at a tradeshow in New Orleans and the most important peice of advice I can give now is to not be afraid of your competition. That means to stay connected with whoever may be in your industry. You've heard of keep your friends close and your enemies closer. The old legend is true. Learn how to work people and the timing is crucial.
Once you've done your research of the market and divided everyone into a friend or enemy then just play the game. Fake it until you make it. Everyone is learning something new from day to day..... So stay on top of the free educational products. Then for the questions your customers, teachers, boss's ask you that you may not know, make up the best logical answer and follow up with however I will double check and follow up with you. Any answer other than I don't know is good customer service.

Also if you are in school studying to become a fashion designer a interior designer or whatever else, you should now begin to introduce yourself as those professions!! Fake it until you make it. It's all the game of life.

VEGAS BABY!!

Hey!! Wat it do baby.. I'm in v-town. Only 20 still pimpin in vegas doin it big wiith my baby. I will get at u guys in a few days I get back into Dallas tomorrow night. I'll have my pics and style tips up soon so keep it checked. For now check this I met 4 kids yesterday 16 yrs old they r walking around blown up head walkin high stuntin with the sneaks just right. They weren't doin anything but walking around passing out flyers. But guess wat they are here fakin it till they make it. Stay above ur competition because they are all around. But don't hate just work harder and keep that confidence.

Its the end of the summer and all the sales are out but becareful many retailers at this time bring out old merchandiser from past seasons.so you may be thinking your getting a great deal but trust me. You may also see many retailors mark up prices then put them on sale so again you think ur getting a good deal.
Even today I was grocery shopping and saw the 2 for 7. And 4 for 13. It all was just a marketing tool to control you with what to do. Watchout for sales during tax free weekend coming up in a few weeks.

IM BACK

Yo peep this i haven't been on this joint in i don't know how long. my last post i said some shit about how i have this new line called DOCTRINE. That line is still pretty hot, i mean i do wear it. but at this point i would like to make a shout out to my man International~J. He's has the line out of LA called BRAD BUTTER its hott real cute. www.bradbutter.com call me for samples.

ANYWAYS.. so since then i have stopped working with Ed Hardy up at the showroom. I'm working as a store buyer at a store Uptown. That's all i can say because this world is very competitive these days and imma make it if its that last thing i do... WATCH out SARAH ALISE is the *New* designer.. you will be seeing my work out soon.
Actually let me get you updated for what i have been doing. My last gig was a Assistant Stylist for See Pictures the client was for Baylor Hospital, Harris Hospital, H.E.B Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital. The billboards all around the metroplex on all the major highways. I styled that whole photo shoot.

OK so a little fashion help real quick before i hit the sheets.. So the economy sucks right now and the designer apparel prices are now falling... so take advantage of the sale prices. Keep hittn' up all those small vintage boutiques.. or hit up your mans closet for a new look. For the summer months grab a long collared button shirt. roll the sleeves for a prepy look. jazz it up with some bangles on the wrist long shiny earrings.. OOO and this ring which i want ssoo bad from the store i work at. Its a big shinny diamond ring with blue tones in the middle. just have fun with the outfit if the shirt isn't long enough invest in some great booty shorts cuff the hem.. would be real hott if they were high waist. check it.. you never know what you might look amazing in.

ok gots ta get to sleep i will get back with more photos to you tomorrow hopefully. My camera wasn't working for the longest time but i got i back and rolling.. actually i never had batteries for it. and i finally remembered to buy some. SO yes you will be seeing my life through my camera to your computer screen SOON...

Men and womens contemporary clothing straight out of LA. I picked a few that i thought were real hott tell me what you think..... or check out .... its kind of under my control to see what stores this line goes in.. where do you shop at? maybe you will see the newest clothing out of LA.

Sneaker Freakers... and Store Buyers

Buyers when you go to make a purchase for the mens sneakers please check out the pre-packs. watch out for the woman who like the boys shoes too meaning buy the size 6 and 7 in mens FOR THE LADIES.... i mean dang. i think all these sneaks are hott but NOOO one has them in the size 6 or 7s.
